Sat., Feb. 24

They said the weather was bad Friday? Look at what it looked like Saturday, looking out the music room window at the Baby House!

We should have taken his passport photo Friday!!

Anyway, Saturday morning we had a nice visit with Caleb. He's always a little confused on Saturdays because we come at a different time. He seems to be tired. He would stop every few minutes, put his fingers in his mouth, and just lay down wherever he happened to be.
Since it was colder, the caregivers bulked Caleb up again with several layers. He looked like a linebacker again...this time wearing Baylor Bear green. See Marcie and Ginny, I know there are other Universities in Texas!

I've tried not to whine too much this trip (I know some of you are thinking..."try a little harder"...but, I'm really ready to get our boy and go home!!! Of course, it seems to be worse for me on the weekends. I guess it's because we visit the Baby House in the morning on Saturday, and then we don't have anything much to do until Monday. Now, if we were at home and this was the case, it would be sooooo great! Oh well, as Brad keeps saying, "In the grand scheme of things, this is just a speck of time."

The family pictures are getting better and better. As I have said before I don't know how you keep your sanity. Well now I know. Thank God for Brad and he's right. I guess this is a small price to pay for a beautiful little boy. When he gets to the age when you can share this whole experience with him he will know how loved he was right from the beginning and how lucky he is to have parents with a lot of patience. Take Care Always in our prayers Love Ginny and Gary

The picture of all three of you is wonderful. Caleb looks like a combination of you and he is so cute! I'm praying that the weather will be good for his picture on Monday. The weather here has been wonderful. Dad is off Monday and is looking forward to visiting the "Greens." (golf of course) Dad went shopping yesterday and bought a 2006 Buick. He is one happy camper.Ashley's new word is Kitty. She loves that cat and I may be called Kitty instead of grandma. (Ha) Well, it's about time for me to get ready for Church and you will be going to bed soon. So have a good nights sleep and a great day tomorrow. Give Caleb a kiss for us. We love you lots and remember everyone is praying for you. Love mom & dad a.

It was great to see Caleb in something other than the tu outfit... but then again, Caleb made even that look cute! :) It's been so amazing to be able to read about your journey - mom is going to have a lot of work to do keeping me up to date once yall are back in TX. I'm praying for all of you, as are my co-workers - they look forward to the updates as much as I do! Hopefully these last days will pass quickly! ~ Marcie (Ginny's daughter)

Hang in there!! Your wait is over half over and I pray the next days will get very busy with getting the passport and being with Caleb and you'll be home before you know it. You guys have dealt with a lot getting your son so Pethrie if you need to whine a little none of us will mind. We all admire your patience in this whole adoption process but it will be so worth it all. He gets cutier in every picture. I think when you read this it will be Monday morning and we are praying for warmer weather, no snow and that you are able to take Caleb for the picture. He certainly will know how to pose for the camera. Looking forward to seeing all THREE of you soon. Love, Lanoma
