Day 3 of Bonding

Well, today it snowed a little more--you'll see it in some of the pictures. The picture to the left is of Brad standing in front of the Cafe Bosfar, where we ate dinner. (Yes, it's the same place where he had the weird chicken patty thing.) This time he ordered a doner kebob. (who knows what it is!) He said it was okay. I had a Greek salad and french fries. (Great combo, huh?--but pretty good!) No, Mom, even meatloaf sounds really good...and since you probably ate it at the Cracker Barrel, it sounds reeaally good!!
We watched a few episodes of the series Rome and the movie, Office Space, to pass the time. Finally, it was time to go see Baby Caleb. He was even less nervous today. He had on his long johns, with the original outfit we brought over that, and then the new one we brought over that! He looked like that little boy from A Christmas Story, which would be fine if we were outside! So we took a few pictures with the newest outfit on and then took it off, so that he could move. We took that outfit back with us and left a different one, one that isn't so thick and bulky because we assume it will be over his long johns and the first outfit we brought! Caleb's teeth didn't seem to be bothering him quite so much, although, about halfway through our visit, they did seem to be irritating him. I rubbed some Babydent on his gums and he seemed to feel better. He seemed to not be as distracted by the others coming in and out of our small room. Yes, Brenda and Grandma Carol, we are singing to him. The first day when I sang to him, he started smiling and shaking his head back and forth like saying "no." It was funny! We didn't know whether he didn't like the singing or if he was "dancing" to the music. He did it a couple of other times, too, on previous visits. Today, Brad and I were both singing "Old McDonald" to him. We have this cow that says "MOOOOO!" so we would push the button when it got to the part "with a moo-moo here..." He really liked it. A few minutes later, Brad said "mooooo!" and Caleb looked back at him and did it, too! They did it several times! I think I recorded it on video!
Well, we have some more pictures! Enjoy! Remember, we love hearing from everyone! As soon as I wake up (believe it or not usually around 6am, of course, I'm usually exhausted by about 9pm) I check the emails and comments on the blog to see who we've heard from! It's the most exciting time of the day, other than visiting Caleb, of course!

We look forward to checking your blogs everyday. We are so excited to hear all the details of your daily adventures. The pictures are great. You guys are doing a super job of describing your experiences. We love to learn more and more about Caleb each day!I can't wait to hold him and give him a great big hug. It is so cool that Caleb and Ashley are only two months apart. They are going to be so close. We love you very much and are thinking about you often.

That looks like a large facility. How many babies do they have there? After just a couple of days, it seems like you guys are doing great! They are probably not used to seeing such experienced Mommy and Daddy types as you two. It's been cold here the last couple of days but today it's 58 already. Yuk!! So now the decision is whether to wear something warm or cool because I know my room will be freezing. Take care and God Bless Love Ginny and Gary

Nice bib. Hook 'Em Horns!!! These pictures are great. Old McDonald had a farm and the cow was named Bevo. :) I am glad Caleb has the hook 'em sign down pat!!! Yeah, I think y'all need to move back to the other hotel. Especially so Pet can have her porridge.

Love you,
Lisa

Hey guys! The pictures look great! I guess there's no question of Aggie or Longhorn here. He's even doing the number one sign AND the hook em horns. Anyway, Hey Katrina! It's good to here from you, too, via half-way around the world! Well, Tyler went to a birthday party today, and boy did he have a ball! Can't wait for his first birthday next month. Then, hopefully we'll see Caleb there, too. If Ashley can come too, they'll have a ball!!Everything's fine here. Nothing much new to report. No snow yet...big surprise I guess. Anthony wants to know if you'll be back soon. I told him you're not sure when you'll be back, and he said, "Aww, I want to see my new cousin." Guess we all can't wait. Carol's having trouble getting her account to sign in to comment, but she's reading everything. She's going to try a different name today, and if that doesn't work, I'll help her at church tomorrow. I had to sign mine up twice before it worked. Well, send more news soon. We love seeing those pictures, and hearing all the news. Caleb looks like he's really happy with you. I know it must be killing you to leave him each day. We'll keep praying...Love you.
